Maintenance & Facility Manager
This position manages all aspects of the physical plant (equipment, infrastructure, building) and EH&S responsibility for establishing direction and leadership for the development, implementing, and on-going management of EH&S programs at the St Albans, Vermont facility. The Vermont facility has three manufacturing buildings totaling 125,000 sq ft. The position provides leadership and direction to the maintenance team (i.e. motivating, developing, managing, evaluating, etc.), optimizing day-to-day operations of the department, and ensuring compliance with safety standards, predictive and preventive maintenance programs, equipment repairs and upgrades.

The Kiln Engineer provides mechanical and industrial engineering support to improve product quality, process efficiency, and department productivity.

The Market and Application Engineer serves as the prime contact for identifying and developing customers in new markets and new applications, and provides technical support for the Sales team and existing customers.  Market and Application Engineers are experts in market dynamics, customer’s equipment and applications, STC and competitor products, STC and customer production processes, and STC and customer quality processes. 
The Marketing functions include, but are not limited to, product (innovation and development), promotion (lead generation and brand), and margin development to grow sales and profitability.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Safely sets up, loads and unloads the production machines
  • Monitors the operation of the machines and programs in meeting product specifications.
  • Keeps track of individual production by logging in/out of our MRP/Barcode system and counting completed parts.
  • Performs required daily maintenance.
  • Detects and reports faulty operations, defective materials and unusual conditions to department Supervisor.
  • Ability to make tooling offset changes. Able to make CNC program edits.

The Manufacturing Engineer provides mechanical and industrial engineering support to improve product quality, process efficiency, and department productivity.
